Colour measurement for the graphic arts

This is an intensive two-day course that covers the theory and practice of colour measurement for people in printing, publishing and photography. The program is based in one of our well-equipped Colour Laboratories and includes: Types of colour measuring instruments The CIE system Instrument geometries, and the properties of graphic arts materials  Precision, accuracy and uncertainty in colour measurement Graphic arts standards for colorimetry There are also extensive hands-on sessions on measuring spectral reflectance, defining the gamut of colour media, process control, and measuring printed targets and colour monitors for device calibration and the creation of ICC profiles.
