ICC profile construction
For most people the commercial applications available for making ICC profiles are adequate to their needs, and the use of such applications is covered in the Colour Management short course.
For those who need to know about constructing profiles for their own applications, we provide a one-day course which covers reading, editing and writing profiles in a programming language. The course focuses on the use of the Matlab programming language, as this provides a number of high-level constructs which are useful in working with ICC profiles.
The course is delivered by the ICC Technical Secretary, Dr Phil Green. It includes hands-on sessions where participants will develop code to read, apply, write and validate profiles, and sample code is provided for these sessions.

Who should attend
The course is aimed at those who need to develop their own applications to generate or apply ICC profiles, or who need a more detailed knowledge of the profile format and its processing elements than are provided in the Colour Management course.
